Q. How many days should I allow to see the Cotswolds?
A. Typically, guests will stay with us for three to four nights to visit the Cotswolds villages and gardens, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace and Oxford.
Q. Are there pubs and restaurants nearby?
A. There are two pubs and a restaurant in the village of Mickleton, about 12/15 minutes walk away, each serving excellent meals. Chipping Campden, a few minutes by car, also has a wide selection of eating establishments.
Q. Is a vegetarian option available at breakfast?
A. There is an extensive menu with vegetarian options.
Q. Do you cater for special dietary needs?
A. If you provide sufficient notice we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
Q. Will I be able to access the Internet?
A. Wi-Fi is available in most rooms (subject to range) and guests are welcome to borrow our lap-top computer.
Q. Do you have car parking space?
A. We have ample car parking for all our guests.
Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. Most major credit/debit cards, excluding American Express. Payment may also be made in cash, by cheque or Travellers Cheque (but a £5 charge is levied per cheque to cover additional banking costs).
Q. I have medicines which need to be refrigerated - is there a fridge in bedrooms?
A. There is a fridge in the hallway for the exclusive use of guests and you are also welcome to chill your own drinks.
Q. At what times may we check-in?
A. We ask guests to check-in between 4pm and 7pm (we are unlikely to be home before 4pm).
Q. When must rooms be vacated?
A. Rooms should be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure.
Q. Will I lose my deposit if I need to cancel my reservation?
A. Deposits will be refunded in full in the event of cancellation prior to 28 days of the arrival date. Cancellations made between 8 and 28 days prior to arrival date will only be refunded if we are able to re-let the accommodation, so please give as much notice as possible. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival date will incur 100% of the total cost of the Accommodation.
Q. How long does it take to drive from Heathrow or Gatwick?
A. Heathrow is about 90 minutes drive to the north Cotswolds and Gatwick around 145 minutes, but please allow extra time at peak periods.
Q. What is the best route from Bath to the north Cotswolds?
A. Visit www.theaa/route-planner/index.jsp to obtain detailed routes for all your holiday driving. these routes also include estimated driving times and distances.
Q. Are taxis readily available?

Q. If we are travelling to the north Cotswolds by train, how do we reach Nineveh Farm?
A. The nearest railway stations are at Moreton-in-Marsh or Stratford-upon-Avon, each about 20 minutes away by taxi (cost £15/20 each way). There is an hourly bus service from both towns which takes about 45 minutes - a lesser service runs on Saturdays and no service on Sundays.
Q. Where can I rent a car?
A. To an extent it depends upon where you are travelling from and where you are travelling to after your visit. If travelling to or from an airport, it is preferable to rent a car from the airport. There are plenty of car rentals in London but to avoid driving in the City (Congestion Charges also apply), consider public transport to Heathrow and collect a car from there. Our nearest car rental company is RK Services at Evesham tel. 01386 48935. Many car rental companies are closed on Sundays and some on Saturday afternoons also.
Q. We will not have a car. Is it possible to visit the Cotswold villages by public transport?
A. A car is essential to visit the Cotswold villages.
