Rental Cars

A hire car is almost essential as public transport is infrequent or non-existent, particularly at weekends, to many of the best locations in the Cotswolds.  

Please Note - Many car rental companies are closed on Sundays and will not accept the return of vehicles, unless the return is to an airport. 

Wherever possible, arrange for two drivers to use the hire car – sharing the driving provides some relief from negotiating the narrow Cotswolds lanes or congested motorways. 

Purchase a current road atlas from the first filling station!
