Touring the Cotswolds Villages (allow a whole day) – follow our planned tours (with our large scale Ordnance Survey maps) and visit the most popular villages of Chipping Campden, Snowshill, Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, the Slaughters, Bibury and others, many having additional interests such as Sudeley Castle (Winchcombe), the Mechanical Music Museum (Northleach), Motor Museum and Miniature Village (Bourton-on-the-Water), Arts and Crafts Movement and Silversmiths Exhibition (Chipping Campden).

 

Stratford-upon-Avon (allow at least half a day) – six Shakespeare Houses to visit around Stratford, plus the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Tour by car or open decked bus. 

 

Warwick (allow half a day) – visit Warwick Castle and stroll around the town. The castle is open every day except Christmas Day and has added attractions during the summer months. 

 

Gardens Tour (expect to be able to visit two or three gardens in a day) – some are closed in winter months. Hidcote Manor Garden (NT), Kiftsgate Court, Batsford Arboretum, Mill Dene, Sezincote and Snowshill (NT) are each within a 20 minutes drive from Nineveh. 

 

Oxford and Woodstock (allow a whole day) – Blenheim Palace (closed in winter), gardens and park. Walk around the colleges of the City of Oxford or take an open decked bus tour.
